CAMES DE FERRO 2017

Back to Works

PROJECT

The Cames de Ferro (Iron Legs) solidarity run in Puigsacalm was born from the need to diversify GECA’s activities, which led the company to seek a quality partner to bring meaning and value to the project. To this end, an agreement was reached between GECA and Noel Alimentaria S.A.U. which establishes Noel as the sole sponsor of the event in exchange for GECA donating the proceeds to the A. Bosch Foundation, led by Noel Alimentaria with the aim of raising money for the financing of research into cures for children’s diseases. The scientific research team is made up of professionals from different departments of the Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona.

SOLUTION

The race runs through the natural landscapes of the Vall d’en Bas municipality, starting from Sant Esteve d’en Bas and going up to Puigsacalm. Cames de Ferro consists of three races: the 42km marathon, the 23km half marathon and the 10k run. To be able to film the three races from different points along the route, we had to coordinate multiple crew members to capture the best images without missing out on anything. We also captured spectacular views from our drone.

It was a real pleasure enjoying the splendour of the scenery and such a well-organized race.
